Rodney
RODNEY was brought to Hip Dog by his
loving parents, Christy and Sander, who
hoped that hydrotherapy would ease the aches and pains of his severe
arthritis. Rodney was rescued from a condemned building in the middle of a
Michigan winter and adopted by Christy and Sander just a year and a half
ago. Rodney is quite famous in GreyHeart Greyhound Rescue & Adoption
of
Michigan , the rescue group up north - he became a poster dog for them. He
was even in the newspaper when he was rescued. We at Hip Dog were not
surprised at Rodney's celebrity - he was a gentle, loving boy who was deeply
cherished by his parents. His time in our pool and our lives was too
short,
but we know that he is now free of the aches and pains that plagued him and
that he is running with his heart wide open across fields of soft grass.
